Created for "Lets Talk About Love Baby," a traveling exhibition curated by Chido Johnson
This book is a compendium of all of the personal ads posted to Craigslist on January 7th, 2012, between the hours of midnight and eight A.M., in Los Angeles, California. The data collected in this book is presented unedited, and the chapters reflect Craigslist’s own organizational categories. In essence the book serves as a bound archive of a communities desires. Desires that would normally only exist as digital information in cyberspace, destined to be deleted from public record, only hours after their original posting.
